We believe that:

1. The Bible, both OT and NT, are inspired Word of God, the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct and is superior to conscience and reason but not contrary to reason. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; I Thessalonians 2:13)

2. There is One God, who has revealed Himself eternally existing as three equal yet distinct Persons, namely; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28: 19; Luke 3:22)

3. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Incarnated Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, did miracles. Also in His substitutionary work: His death, resurrection, ascension and exaltation to the right hand of the Father. He is both God and human. (Matthew 1:23; 28:6; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 2:22 (Corinthians 15: 1-3; Acts 1:9-11)

4. The Holy Spirit is God. We also believe in personality, His role as Christ’s substitute on earth, and His being the believers’ “paraclete” or comforter. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from and subsequent to regeneration or new birth and is initially, physically evidenced by speaking in tongues. Such baptism is to empower the believer’s life and service. (Genesis 1:2; Romans 8:26; John 14:16-17; Acts 2:4; 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 19:7-9)

5. Man was created good and upright but by his own volition, fell into sin, thereby incurred both physical death (separation of body and soul), and spiritual death (separation from God) and therefore needs salvation. Man’s salvation is only by the grace of God through repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, by which he is now an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. Such salvation is evidenced by a life of separation from evil and consecration to God. (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:16; Romans 5:12-19; Luke 21:17; Titus. 2:ll; 3:5-7)

6. The Church, born of and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, is consists of all believers of Jesus in heaven and on earth. Its community of believers has a manifold and wholistic ministry such as glorifying God, edifying itself and evangelizing the world. It has two ordinances to follow : baptize by immersion in water those who believe in Christ as a public declaration of having been raised with Jesus in the newness of life; and celebrate the Lord’s Supper as often as possible, in commemoration of His death and resurrection until He comes. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:11; Hebrews 12:23; Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; I Corinthians.ll:26)

7. All Spiritual Gifts and heavenly blessings are made available to the Church, including signs, wonders and divine healing of the human body, which is included in the atonement on the cross. (Ephesians 1:3-4; 4:8-11; I Peter 2:24; I Corinthians 12 and 14; Isaiah 53:5)

8. The Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is the living and blessed hope of all believers.( It will be) Invisibly, to rapture the Church; and personal and visible on earth to establish His millennial reign after the 7 years Great Tribulation. (I Thessalonians 4:l6; Titus 2:l3; Revelation.l9:20; Matthew 24:27)

9. The Bodily Resurrection will be both of the saved and the lost; the one, to everlasting life; the latter, to everlasting punishment with Satan, his angels, the Beast and False Prophets, which is the final judgment. (Matthew 25:26; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8)

l0. All believers should look forward to the literal, physical New Heaven and New Earth wherein dwells everlasting righteousness. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:22)
